Death Has Returned
Chapter Two of The Death Stone Quest

Sonic awoke on a brisk summer morning.Birds chirping,the sun ray beaming,
and two voices coming from Tails hut.But Sonic knew from earlier experience 
the voices belonged to Tails and Lingo.The two were spending so much time 
together wich was good.Though Sonic and Sally were drifting apart.Sonic 
thought that it would be ok for Sally and him to not see each other for a 
while,and with the return of the king things were really wack.Sonic paced 
around his room thinking hard.Thinking it was time he left the Freedom 
Fighters.Tears formed in his eyes. Was his time really up?Sonic had to find 
out!He put on the suit he used while saving Tails and Lingo and grabbed the 
Death Stone wich the two halves were hanging in the KnotHole Museum.Sonic 
wanted to travel to the future to see what life would be like without him.
He was soon transported to a beat up run down DUMP!He kicked a can singing a song to himself.
Meanwhile at the real KnotHole Tails and Lingo were playing videogames.
"Oh No!I died at the boss again"Lingo yelled.
"Now watch the master!"Tails yelled.
About 1 hour later Tails died at the same spot.When he set down the 
controller he looked at Lingo.They stared into each others eyes.Then 
finally Lingo turned away.
"No!We said we shouldn't see each other."Lingo said
"Your right"Tails said looking at the floor.
"Well its your turn Lingo."
She took the controller and played the game.In Bunnies' hut Rotor was 
adding some new items onto Bunnie.A more powerful gun and shield concerning 
her latest fight with Mecha Sonic.
"Well I am just glad you did this for me Rotor."Bunnie said
"Yeah.That's nice"Was all he said.
Antoine walked in.Then he started running around the room screaming."Ze 
hedgehog  iz gone!"
"Calm down Ant"Rotor said.
"He's gone he's gone he's gone he's gone he's...."Antoine said running 
around the room
Finally he hit the wall and fell down.
"gone....."He muttered.
Sally rushed in.
"Rotor,Bunnie,Ant!The death stone is missing."She yelled
"Sonic has to have it!Because Tails and Lingo experienced the power.I got 
it!He wanted to see the future!"Rotor yelled.
"But why would Sonic want to know the future?"Sally asked
"I have no idea"Rotor said"but I know that one of us has to save him."
"Ill do it."Came a unfamiliar voice.
Sally turned to see a young fox.The fox had two long bushy tails and 
resembled Tails.
"My name is Jodie Prower.Nice to meet you"She stuck her hand out to Sally.
Sally stared awkwardly at the young fox struck that this was Tails sister!
Tails walked into the main room with Lingo.
"Hey yall what's up.Oh!Who's the new girl."He said while putting his arm 
around Lingo.She pushed it away.
"Tails,"Rotor said"I want you to meet your sister."
"WHAT!OH THIS IS SO COOL!"he was screaming so loud.
"Wait!She is willing to risk her life to save Sonic from the DeathStones 
power"Rotor finished.
"Awwwwww man!"He said then walked out.
Rotor equipped Jodie with the equipment and sent her to work.She had thirty 
seconds to get in and out but,one minute is thirty seconds.(Duh didn't you 
read The Death Stone!)
Jodie was teleported to the same area as Sonic.
"SONIC"she yelled.
She got no answer.She walked around until it started to snow.When it started
to snow she built camp.
"help........."a voice called
Jodie got up and saw a figure standing by a tree.
"Are you sonic?"she asked
"Yes!Help me"
She ran over and picked him up and soon they were back at KnotHole.Sonic 
was sick.Very SICK!He was pale blue and didn't look healthy.He was coughing 
every second.
"Will he be all right"Jodie asked
"Sonic will make it"Sally said"I hope"
Just then a huge bang went of outside.The team all but sonic looked out,In 
the front of the KnotHole was a green 
emerald colored Sonic.
"W-W-Who are you?"Tails asked
"I am Chaos Sonic!" He yelled"I am here to take the place of the loyal King 
Acorn.
"What"Sally said softly.
"It is true Sally the time has come for Chaos Sonic the god of all chaos to 
take my roll as king"Acorn said
"You will always be known as Sir Acorn."Rotor said tears forming.
Inside the hut Sonic was coughing up a storm.
"Help me!"he yelled
"Sonic!"Sally yelled"We have to save him or else he will DIE!"
"Leave it to me princess"Chaos Sonic said.
He put his hand over top of Sonic's eyes and chanted some words.
"Kimso da king hong do"were his words
Chaos lifted his hand and Sonic was back to normal as healthy as could be.
"But,How,did ,you,who?"was all Sonic could say.
"Young hedgehog i am Chaos Sonic.You may call me Chaos."He said
"Nice to meet you Chaos my name is Sonic"
"Maybe we should leave Chaos and Sonic alone,"Sally said moving everybody 
out of the main hut.Now you probly are wondering what Robotnick was doing 
durring this time.Well he is working on a new machine.The machine to destroy
all of Mobius.The Death Egg!But he needed one thing to complete his 
marvelous creation.THE DEATH STONE!
"Snively!Bring me the Death Stone or else!"Robotnick yelled with spit flying 
out of his mouth.
"Yes sir right away!"Snively said.
Then Snively quickly left Robotropolis hoping to find the stone.Then he 
spotted it!Right next to this little village.
He crept up to the village.Grabbed the stone,but heard voices.
"Tails we have to destroy Robotnick and the Death Stone"Lingo said.
"Ya I know it's our fault all this happed so lets GO!"He yelled"You coming 
sis?"
"Well duh!Of course I am!"she yelled
Snively watched as the three walked towards Robotropolis.He put the stone 
in his suit and ran.Snively was lucky,Robotnick gave him a suit to protect him from the Death Stone's power..
"I have you now fox!"Snively said with a smirk smile on his face.
Snively followed the team of three all the way to Robotropolis.He had heard 
the hole plan so now he snuck in a secret passage way and told blubberbutt 
the plan.Meanwhile at KnotHole Sonic and Chaos were suiting up for the 
battle against Robotnick.
"So I guess this is the final battle with Robotnick",Sonic said.
"Well little buddy it's a first for me!"Chaos said laughing.
"Sonic be careful"Sally said.
Just then Rotor and Bunnie came running up.
"You guys!Tails,Jodie,and Lingo are gone!"They yelled,"The Death Stone is 
missing too!"
"Well sally I guess our "Quest" is never going to end"Sonic said with a 
sigh.
"Lets go blue dude!"Chaos yelled 
The whole team set out to destroy Robotnick.But the Death Egg would be just 
too strong.....
